Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns Karabakh resolution adopted by French Senate

Vestnik Kavkaza – Turkey’s Foreign Ministry condemned the adoption of the resolution on Nagorno Karabakh by the French Senate.

The statement says that the resolution of the French Senate on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict adopted yesterday was a gross violation of the principles of international law.

According to the ministry, “this decision of the French Senate clearly testifies why the work of the OSCE Minsk Group, being carried out by the co-chairs, who must remain neutral, have been unable to resolve this issue yet.

“The call of the French Senate to Azerbaijan to leave its territories, which it liberated from occupation, demonstrates absurd, biased attitude without any facts and must not be taken seriously,” the statement reads.

“We want France to adopt a more constructive attitude for stabilization of the region by making the right conclusions,” the ministry called on.

French Secretary of State at the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne said that recognition of the fake regime created by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan supported by the resolution passed by the French Senate will do no good for anyone.
