“Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkiye continues its efforts to establish peace and stability regarding the Russia-Ukraine war,” said Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar at a press conference, APA‘s Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that about 17 million tons of grain had been transported from Ukrainian ports to various countries through the corridor opened via the mediation of Turkiye.
