Libya Observer – The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, discussed with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, developments on the ground in Libya, according to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The statement confirmed that the two parties held discussions by telephone on the importance of the cessation of hostilities and a resumption of political dialogue, under the auspices of the United Nations (UN).
Both parties stressed the need to force the Libyan players to participate in solving the crisis, according to the methods put forward at the Berlin conference, which were approved by the UN Security Council.
