“The number of US military bases in Greece has increased from 5 to 9,” said Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar in his interview with NTV TV channel, APA‘s Istanbul bureau reports.
He noted that with this, Washington violated its balanced policy on Türkiye-Greece relations.
Akar called on Greece to refrain from provocations and to continue the dialogue between the two countries.
